I didn’t start out with a master plan. I just showed up. One post at a time.
I can recall in the beginning I was overshadowed by imposter syndrome and all the feels that come with fear. But then there was this voice that kept telling me to start—a voice I couldn’t silence. So one day I started.
And here I am, 1,000 posts later.
We started as Nasté Apparel: a clapback at the degradation of women, especially Black women. But over time, we evolved into AUBRIEA: a brand rooted in affirmation, artistry, and the belief that you are worthy of being uniquely you.
Virality and trends come and go.
I’ve always cared more about soulful connections; community, creativity, because that’s what sustains us. That’s what fuels me. That’s what I hope you feel when you land here. We're in it for the long haul.
And truthfully, I’m okay with growing slowly.
But let me be clear: slow does not mean boring.
We are BOLD, BOUGIE, and SHINING BRIGHT.
I’d rather build slowly with intention than rise quickly without a foundation.
I am not behind. And neither are you.
